The support package also covers MRO services for a wide range of aircraft components.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"592\" data-end=\"1042\">Rabbi Vincent Ang, president of PAL Express, said: &#8220;We are confident that Lufthansa Technik&#8217;s comprehensive component support system will help us maintain operational excellence as we continue to grow and serve our passengers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"592\" data-end=\"1042\">&#8220;The availability of spare parts at our Manila base, backed by access to Lufthansa Technik&#8217;s vast pool facilities in Hong Kong, Singapore, Hamburg and Frankfurt, ensures that aircraft are serviced promptly and kept flying.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1044\" data-end=\"1317\">PAL Express serves as the domestic and regional arm of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.philippineairlines.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Philippine Airlines<\/a>, operating short-haul international and domestic routes across the archipelago. The new agreement builds on the longstanding relationship between Lufthansa Technik and the Philippine Airlines Group.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1319\" data-end=\"1542\">Just days before the A320 component deal was finalised, PAL Express also signed a separate MRO agreement with Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey for support of PW150 engines used on the airline\u2019s De Havilland Canada Dash 8 fleet.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1544\" data-end=\"1948\">Jens Michel, vice president corporate sales North East Asia at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lufthansa-technik.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lufthansa Technik<\/a>, said: &#8220;We are delighted that PAL Express is strengthening its commitment to Lufthansa Technik by choosing us once again \u2013 this time to provide component support for their A320s.
