{"id":185263,"date":"2025-07-29T12:29:18","date_gmt":"2025-07-29T11:29:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aviationbusinessnews.com\/?p=185263"},"modified":"2025-07-29T15:59:13","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T14:59:13","slug":"commercial-appointment-re-shuffle-at-emirates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aviationbusinessnews.com\/cabin\/commercial-appointment-re-shuffle-at-emirates\/","title":{"rendered":"Commercial appointment re-shuffle at Emirates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dubai-based Emirates has re-allocated a number of people in commercial roles.<\/p>\n<p>The appointments, all UAE nationals, aim to further build the airline\u2019s commercial and operational footprint across West Asia, the Indian Ocean and Africa.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Effective 1 August, the appointments are as follows:<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<blockquote><p>Jaber Mohamed, currently Country Manager Bangladesh, will become Country Manager Sri Lanka and the Maldives.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<blockquote><p>Talal Al Gergawi, currently Country Manager Zimbabwe, will become Country Manager Bangladesh.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<blockquote><p>Salem Almana, currently Regional Manager Pakistan, will become Country Manager Ghana.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<blockquote><p>Omar Bushlaibi (<em>pictured<\/em>), currently Country Manager Zambia, will assume interim responsibility for Zimbabwe, alongside his ongoing duties in Zambia.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The latest rotations are part of Emirates&#8217; commercial outstation managers programme, designed to offer UAE Nationals unique opportunities to diversify their leadership skills and deepen their knowledge of local markets within the airline\u2019s network.
