WestJet Cargo has unveiled its expanded 2025\/2026 winter schedule, introducing five new destinations and boosting service across Latin America, the Caribbean, and Asia to support Canadian businesses during the peak season.<\/p>\n

New destinations include Panama City, Guadalajara, Tepic, Havana, and Managua, with year-round service to Mexico City also debuting this winter. These additions open up fresh trade routes and enhance cargo capacity in sun markets critical to Canadian importers and exporters.<\/p>\n

While total departures across the network will rise by 3% year-on-year, WestJet Cargo says capacity will remain strong thanks to the reconfiguration of ex-Sunwing and Swoop aircraft into a more cargo-friendly layout.<\/p>\n

In total, the airline will serve 305 routes and 62 sun destinations this winter, with a 6% increase in capacity to Latin America and the Caribbean, including high-demand markets like Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico.<\/p>\n
