{"id":184644,"date":"2025-06-25T16:18:06","date_gmt":"2025-06-25T15:18:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aviationbusinessnews.com\/?p=184644"},"modified":"2025-06-25T16:18:06","modified_gmt":"2025-06-25T15:18:06","slug":"embraer-launches-operations-at-new-texas-mro-facility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aviationbusinessnews.com\/mro\/latest-news-mro\/embraer-launches-operations-at-new-texas-mro-facility\/","title":{"rendered":"Embraer launches operations at new Texas MRO facility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"457\" data-end=\"683\">Embraer has officially launched operations at its new commercial MRO facility at Perot Field Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas, marking a major expansion of its US support infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"685\" data-end=\"928\">Developed in partnership with the City of Fort Worth and the State of Texas, the company has begun operations in an existing hangar, with construction of a second facility already planned.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"685\" data-end=\"928\">The second hangar is scheduled for completion in 2027.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"930\" data-end=\"1140\">The site will increase Embraer\u2019s customer support capacity across the US by 53% and represents a total investment of up to $70 million. The expansion is expected to create around 250 new aviation jobs in Texas.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1529\">\u201cWe are very excited to start operations at our new MRO facility in Fort Worth,\u201d said Frank Stevens, vice president global MRO centres at Embraer Services &amp; Support. \u201cThe support from the City of Fort Worth, Denton County, and the State of Texas has been essential for launching this operation. We will continue working to expand Embraer\u2019s capacity, capability, and footprint in the US.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1531\" data-end=\"1710\">The new Fort Worth centre becomes Embraer\u2019s 13th company-owned MRO facility globally, forming part of a wider support network of more than 80 authorised service centres worldwide.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1712\" data-end=\"2231\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\u201cThe opening of the new Embraer facility is just the latest example of how Fort Worth is the place to be to start, build, or expand a business,\u201d said Robert Allen, president and CEO of the Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1712\" data-end=\"2231\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\u201cFort Worth has been declared the Aviation Capital of Texas by the Governor and this announcement proves it. This new facility at Alliance will allow <a href=\"http:\/\/embraer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Embraer<\/a> to increase its aviation operations and bring hundreds of new jobs to our area.
