The partnership already includes e-commerce handling agreements at Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Li\u00e8ge (LGG) airports.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"654\" data-end=\"823\">This latest development highlights <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wfs.aero\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WFS<\/a> and SATS\u2019 ongoing commitment to supporting the growing e-commerce sector by accelerating shipment throughput across their network.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"825\" data-end=\"1088\">To meet the demands of the new contract, FCS is expanding its dedicated e-commerce handling facility at Frankfurt Airport by 300%, increasing its size to 2,000 square meters. The facility will manage the specialist handling of import e-commerce shipments for EDT.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1090\" data-end=\"1337\">FCS will provide enhanced import services within its first-line warehouse, which offers direct ramp access. These services include rapid cargo breakdown, sortation, and handover to last-mile delivery providers, all within agreed service timelines.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1339\" data-end=\"1533\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">EDT\u2019s e-commerce shipments, primarily destined for consumers in Germany, are flown into Frankfurt by scheduled carriers, including several major Chinese airlines that are existing FCS customers.<\/p>\n<p>Claus Wagner, managing director of FCS, said: &#8220;With our investment to expand e-commerce handling capacity in Frankfurt, FCS is sending a clear signal to leading companies like EDT that we are supporting their special service requirements, and we are making a strong commitment to these partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In addition to greater capacity, we have a specialist team for e-commerce handling and this, along with our existing contracts with major airlines serving the German market from key origin points in China, has enabled us to win EDT\u2019s business.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cE-commerce traffic into Germany is growing strongly and this cooperation with EDT as one of our first dedicated e-commerce customers will further
