{"id":183662,"date":"2025-05-09T14:12:26","date_gmt":"2025-05-09T13:12:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aviationbusinessnews.com\/?p=183662"},"modified":"2025-05-09T14:12:26","modified_gmt":"2025-05-09T13:12:26","slug":"aerfin-enhances-aftermarket-supply-with-teardown-of-boeing-777-300er","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aviationbusinessnews.com\/mro\/latest-news-mro\/aerfin-enhances-aftermarket-supply-with-teardown-of-boeing-777-300er\/","title":{"rendered":"AerFin enhances aftermarket supply with teardown of Boeing 777-300ER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\" data-start=\"19\" data-end=\"388\">Aircraft and engine aftermarket solutions provider, AerFin, has successfully completed the teardown of a Boeing 777-300ER, previously operated by Japan Airlines, marking a significant achievement in the company\u2019s expanding global operations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"19\" data-end=\"388\">This aircraft is the first of a series of 777s AerFin will acquire and dismantle over the next 12 months, contributing much-needed high-demand material to the aviation aftermarket.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"390\" data-end=\"643\">Acquired earlier this year, the teardown took place in New Mexico, with major components such as nacelles and reverse thrusters now securely stored in Arizona.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"390\" data-end=\"643\">The majority of the harvested parts have already been relocated to AerFin\u2019s Miami warehouse.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"889\">AerFin says this strategic acquisition enhances its inventory with top-quality parts, providing airlines, MROs, and lessors around the world with competitively priced, serviceable material for one of the most widely used long-haul aircraft platforms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1260\" data-end=\"1617\">The Boeing 777-300ER, a key aircraft in many global airline fleets due to its impressive range, efficiency, and payload capabilities, will now provide valuable used serviceable material (USM) for operators.<\/p>\n<p>Jacqueline Fernandez, senior vice president for Americas at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aerfin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AerFin<\/a>, said: &#8220;We\u2019re proud to bring this B777-300ER material to market at a time when operators are seeking cost-effective, sustainable support for their fleets.
