{"id":183095,"date":"2025-04-09T16:04:44","date_gmt":"2025-04-09T15:04:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aviationbusinessnews.com\/?p=183095"},"modified":"2025-04-09T16:10:47","modified_gmt":"2025-04-09T15:10:47","slug":"mro-americas-air-transat-awards-ajw-group-a321-pbh-support-contract","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aviationbusinessnews.com\/mro\/latest-news-mro\/mro-americas-air-transat-awards-ajw-group-a321-pbh-support-contract\/","title":{"rendered":"MRO Americas: Air Transat\u00a0awards AJW Group A321 PBH support contract"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Independent aircraft component parts, repair and supply chain solutions provider, AJW Group, has been awarded a long-term Power-By-the-Hour (PBH) support programme for Air Transat\u2019s A321ceo and growing A320neo family aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>Under the agreement, AJW Group will manage the complete supply, repair, overhaul, and warranty support of rotable components for the Canadian airline&#8217;s narrowbody fleet across its primary base in Montreal, Quebec, and its operations in Toronto and Vancouver.<\/p>\n<p>A key component of the contract is AJW Group\u2019s MRO services\u00a0provided by AJW Technique, which will handle repairs for components within its extensive capability range.<\/p>\n<p>The close proximity of Air Transat to AJW Technique plays a critical role in streamlining maintenance operations, ensuring efficient repair management, rapid turnaround times, and seamless coordination of MRO services.<\/p>\n<p>This local advantage has significantly enhanced service delivery, reinforcing AJW Group\u2019s commitment to operational efficiency and customer-focused support.<\/p>\n<p>AJW Group has supported Air Transat&#8217;s Airbus A330 fleet since 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Scott Symington, chief commercial officer at AJW Group said: &#8220;Our partnership with Air Transat has been built on trust, innovation, and our shared commitment to operational excellence. By adapting our support to meet the evolving needs of their fleet, we continue to provide a streamlined, cost-efficient maintenance solution.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This contract extension is a testament to the success of our collaboration and the value of our tailored PBH programmes in optimising fleet performance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mario Lafrance, vice president of technical operations at Air Transat, said:\u00a0\u201cOur proximity to AJW Technique will contribute to an efficient and timely service delivery. This partnership is a great example of how strategic collaboration can drive efficiency and improve service quality.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ajw-group.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"
