Embraer Commercial Aviation has launched a dedicated Global Leasing and Freighter team to strengthen its presence in the cargo and leasing markets.<\/p>\n

Based in Amsterdam, the new team consolidates expertise in E-Jet passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversions and commercial aviation leasing under a single structure, enhancing Embraer\u2019s strategic focus in these sectors.<\/p>\n

Oliver Gerg has been appointed senior vice president of the Global Leasing and Freighter team. With extensive experience leading Embraer\u2019s Global Leasing division, Gerg played a key role in the 2022 launch of the E-Freighter programme.<\/p>\n

In his new role, Gerg will report directly to Martyn Holmes, chief commercial officer of Embraer Commercial Aviation.<\/p>\n

Holmes said: “The creation of the Global Leasing and Freighter team is a critical step in our strategy to capitalise on opportunities in the growing cargo and leasing markets.<\/p>\n

“Oliver\u2019s leadership, industry expertise, and deep understanding of our business make him the ideal person to lead this initiative. We are confident that, under his guidance, this team will deliver exceptional value to our customers and stakeholders.”<\/p>\n
