TARMAC Aerosave has extended its contract with Safran Aircraft Engines, reinforcing their collaboration in engine maintenance.<\/p>\n
This latest agreement formalises the continued partnership between the two companies, focusing on the installation of the Reverse Bleed System (RBS) on CFM LEAP-1A engines.<\/p>\n
The RBS system, an exclusive innovation by CFM International, helps mitigate carbon build-up on fuel nozzles, reducing on-wing replacements and lowering maintenance costs. For operators, this translates into longer operational time and reduced expenses.<\/p>\n
TARMAC Aerosave delivered its first RBS-equipped engine in April 2024. In September 2024, its specialised \u2018flying team\u2019 performed its first off-site RBS installation in Malta. These off-site operations are ongoing, further enhancing support for Safran Aircraft Engines.<\/p>\n
With expertise in on-wing, near-wing, in-shop, and off-site maintenance, TARMAC Aerosave has already completed over 360 CFM LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B events, including Radial Drive Shaft (RDS) changes. More RBS installations are scheduled in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
Beyond RBS installations, TARMAC Aerosave\u2019s \u2018flying team\u2019 continues to assist customers with engine and landing gear replacements, both on-site and off-site, reinforcing its role as a key player in aircraft maintenance.<\/p>\n
