{"id":180729,"date":"2025-01-08T15:05:06","date_gmt":"2025-01-08T15:05:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aviationbusinessnews.com\/?p=180729"},"modified":"2025-01-08T15:05:06","modified_gmt":"2025-01-08T15:05:06","slug":"avianca-adopts-flydocs-software-to-digitalise-records-management","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aviationbusinessnews.com\/mro\/latest-news-mro\/avianca-adopts-flydocs-software-to-digitalise-records-management\/","title":{"rendered":"Avianca adopts flydocs software to digitalise records management"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Asset management solution provider and wholly owned subsidiary of Lufthansa Technik, flydocs, has signed a five-year agreement to digitalise and streamline the records and asset management of Avianca&#8217;s fleet of over 140 aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>The deal\u00a0complements the airline\u2019s existing partnerships with flydocs&#8217; Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem partners AMOS, the leading maintenance and engineering (M&amp;E) software and AVIATAR, a standalone platform for data-driven digital products and services.<\/p>\n<p>By adopting all three core solutions within Lufthansa Technik&#8217;s Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem, Avianca will benefit from comprehensive data coverage along the entire value stream in technical operations.<\/p>\n<p>These three entities operate independently but work together to integrate their modular solutions, using a customer-focused and collaborative approach.<\/p>\n<p>With the decision to adopt flydocs&#8217; digital records management software alongside AMOS and AVIATAR, Avianca is now the first airline in the Americas leveraging Lufthansa Technik&#8217;s comprehensive digital ecosystem suite.<\/p>\n<p>Francisco Lalinde, vice president of engineering and maintenance at Avianca, said: &#8220;Following our commitment to being a competitive, efficient and sustainable airline, we are excited to announce this strategic alliance with flydocs considering that they are a global leader in digital records and asset management that will support our transformation journey with streamlined DRM software and holistic solutions.
