Participants will engage in a comprehensive four-year aircraft maintenance programme, equipping them with the necessary skills to excel as technicians.<\/p>\n<p>During the signing ceremony, Dr. Raghda Al-Faouri, president of TVSDC, emphasised the importance of this agreement in expanding career opportunities for Jordan\u2019s youth. She highlighted the initiative\u2019s alignment with the strategic objectives of nurturing the talents of the Kingdom\u2019s youth and enhancing their capabilities in fields that are in high demand both locally and internationally.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative aligns with the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, both strong proponents of vocational and technical education.<\/p>\n<p>The programme will provide 25 promising young individuals with job opportunities for a period of 12 months. To qualify, candidates must be Jordanian citizens, at least 17 years old, proficient in English, not currently enrolled in social security, have passed the General Secondary Certificate Examinations (Tawjihi), demonstrate enthusiasm for the aviation industry, and have financial need to cover tuition fees.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Al-Faouri also provided an overview of TVSDC\u2019s role, including its key responsibilities and accomplishments. She outlined the commission\u2019s strategy, which includes issuing training licenses, conducting professional examinations, granting practice licenses, training and certifying instructors, accrediting training providers based on professional standards, and fostering partnerships with the private sector through sector skills councils.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Al-Faouri praised Joramco\u2019s significant contributions to the aircraft MRO industry and commended the company\u2019s dedication to creating new opportunities for Jordanian youth through this collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>At the ceremony, Fraser Currie, chief executive of <a href=\"http:\/\/joramco.com.jo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joramco<\/a>, reaffirmed the company\u2019s commitment to working with national institutions to raise awareness about the aircraft maintenance programme.
