{"id":175851,"date":"2024-06-17T11:47:06","date_gmt":"2024-06-17T10:47:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aviationbusinessnews.com\/?p=175851"},"modified":"2024-06-18T16:34:48","modified_gmt":"2024-06-18T15:34:48","slug":"aerotranscargo-announces-charles-szar-as-new-president","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aviationbusinessnews.com\/cargo\/cargo-news\/aerotranscargo-announces-charles-szar-as-new-president\/","title":{"rendered":"AeroTransCargo announces Szar as new president"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Moldovan cargo airline AeroTransCargo (ATC) has announced that Charles Szar has joined the company as president.<\/p>\n<p>Szar will lead the development strategy for ATC as it leverages its key role in the aviation market and looks for further growth opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Szar has over 30 years of experience in commercial, civil, and military aviation.<\/p>\n<p>He will be based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE).<\/p>\n<p>Before joining AeroTransCargo, Szar spent four years as chief executive of Sky One, an aviation solutions provider.<\/p>\n<p>ATC is a charter and leasing cargo airline incorporated in 2014 under the laws of the UAE.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.atc-md.aero\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ATC<\/a> owns 10 B744 freighters but operates and manages only five. Three of the remaining five aircraft have been given on DRY lease to ROMCARGO SRL (RCR\/NJ) and ONE AIR LTD (HOG\/HC).
