Saudi Arabia-based low-cost airline has taken delivery of the 50th aircraft out of an order for 120 A320neo aircraft.\u00a0The delivery was marked at a reception held at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.<\/p>\n

While the airline still has a while to wait before the remaining 60 aircraft from the order are delivered, plans are already afoot to more than double the order to a total of 250 aircraft in a move that has been rubber-stamped by the directors. The National Civil Aviation Strategy seeks to enable national air carriers to contribute to connect Saudi Arabia with 250 International destinations and to accommodate 330 million passengers and to host 100 million tourists yearly by 2030.<\/p>\n

Flynas was launched in 2007 as Nas Air, changing to the current brand in 2013. At launch, it and Sama Air (which launched at the same time) were the first LCCs in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
