Nichola Bates, managing partner at Aerospace Xelerated and head of global accelerators and innovation programmes at Boeing, speaks with MRO Management’s<\/em> Craig Waters about the Women in STEM Mentorship Programme recently launched by Aerospace Xelerated.<\/h4>\n

Nichola provides an overview of the mentorship programme including eligibility criteria, advice for applicants, and explains how mentees will be matched with mentors and the level of support given during the programme.<\/p>\n

Nichola also gives us her thoughts on why a gender gap remains in the scientific community and what can be done to overcome challenges.<\/p>\n

The 12-month global STEM Mentorship Programme<\/a> is targeted at university students and professional women, and\u00a0designed to help mentees advance their careers in STEM fields, with a focus on aerospace and aviation.<\/p>\n

The deadline to apply is December 10, 2023, and is open to women currently working in STEM or interested in pursuing a career in STEM, including founders, entrepreneurs, young professionals, students, freelancers, and ambitious women who want to break into the field and build up their network.<\/p>\n
